About
Ron is an award-winning Graphic Designer, and currently is the Principal Designer at StudioKerns.
Throughout his nearly 25-year career, work has included advertising and marketing for a wide-range of companies and organizations, whether while working in-house, or within an agency. From consumer packaged goods design for Disney Consumer Products, marketing and corporate communications for French-based multi-national veterinary pharmaceutical firm, Virbac Animal Health, to organizations such as the Learning Disabilities Association of America, Arc of North Texas, and the American Association for Respiratory Care.
A long-time supporter of the Dallas-Fort Worth American Marketing Association, he was awarded the 2015-2016 “Volunteer of the Year” award, as well as earning the “President’s Award” in 2017 for continued service and support for the 600+ member chapter. He was also active in other organizations such as the Dallas IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) and AAF Dallas (American Advertising Federation).
Originally from the Detroit area, Ron lived and worked in Dallas for 20 years. Then, in 2016, with his wife and three daughters, moved to rural, remote northern Arkansas in the gorgeous Ozark Mountains, where he continues his design consultancy business, working with clients from around the world.
When not working, he enjoys trout fishing on the nearby White River, watching Detroit Tigers baseball, is an avid collector of vintage vinyl albums from Motown Records, and is an administrator for a Facebook-based support group for autistic adults, which has a membership of over 200 people globally.
Ron is also active in the local Rotary Club, as well as a member of Toastmasters International.
